Syringe Services Program  (SSP) - Operating only a few hours per week at one or two sites, the SSP respectfully serves its purpose of exchanging dirty needles for clean ones – a one-for-one exchange. Individuals accessing the SSP are also offered other disease prevention services – such as Hepatitis B vaccinations, Hepatitis C screening, HIV testing, and condoms, as well as referral to drug treatment programs and other services. Shasta County Vaccination Clinic -  Protect yourself from Hepatitis B by getting the Hepatitis B vaccine series. If you have no insurance at all, you can get the Hepatitis B vaccine at the Shasta County HHSA Vaccination Clinic for the price listed. See prices for insured clients. Planned Parenthood - Redding Health Center is located at 2935 Bechelli Lane, Suite C, Redding, CA 96002. Call for appointment at (530) 351-7100. Make an appointment online. You can pick up free condoms at Planned Parenthood, and even get STD (sexually transmitted disease) testing done. Women's Health Specialists - Provides low or no cost access to women’s services, including birth control, annual exams, pregnancy testing, sexually transmitted disease testing, and urinary tract infection testing. National Human Trafficking Hotline -  If you or someone you know needs help, call the National Human Trafficking Hotline toll-free hotline, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-888-373-7888 to speak with a specially trained Anti-Trafficking Hotline Advocate. Support is provided in more than 200 languages. They are there to listen and connect you with the help you need to stay safe. Callers can dial 711 to access the Hotline using TTY. BeFree Textline – Text HELP to 233733 (BEFREE) -  To get help for victims and survivors of human trafficking or to connect with local services. Hours of operation are noon to 8:00pm.
